Eastside Heritage Center Renamed to Eastside Medical Center – South Campus

The Eastside Heritage Center in Snellville has been renamed to Eastside Medical Center – South Campus, the Snellville hospital announced last week. 

“Renaming this hospital unites us in our mission and reflects the size and scope of our health system, as well as the collaboration that has existed among the hospitals for years,” said Tim Merritt, COO of Eastside Medical Center-South Campus. "Renaming the hospital also provides additional clarity around the separate and distinct roles of the South Campus and our main hospital." In addition to the renaming of the facility, Merritt says Eastside Medical Center-South Campus recently completed an eight month renovation project which has dramatically enhanced the environment for the comfort of patients.

The South Campus has 61 adult and geriatric behavioral health beds, a 20-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit and a wound care clinic. Eastside Medical Center – South Campus is located at 2160 Fountain Drive in Snellville.
