There will be a grand opening 9 a.m. on Friday for the new arts nonprofit.

Time2Inspire School of Arts offers theory and professional instruction in performing arts programs to develop the skill set and career opportunities of youth. We provide a variety of programs in:

  • Vocal development
  • Dance in ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop
  • Music instruction in piano, violin and guitar
  • Fashion and print modeling
  • Acting in television/film/stage
  • Musical theater

There will be performances by our students to commemorate our mission in the community, which is to build an arts initiative.  The summer camp program is now underway and talented youth are preparing for an upcoming musical for Saturday, July 21 at 5 p.m. called “The Music Store”, written by co-owner, .

She and her husband established Time2Inspire School of Arts under their nonprofit organization called EAP of America, Inc. The organization has been in existence since May 2000, serving hundreds of youth each year from ages 4 and up.

Time2Inspire School of Arts' mission is to serve the creative needs of youth as they follow their journey of self-discovery, discipline and social excellence. Lonnie and Alisa Boykin are trendsetters and have established a foundation for performing excellence as they offer to the community musical theatre to promote the talents of young performers and make a positive difference.
