Results of recent Gwinnett County restaurant inspections in Snellville by East Metro Public Health with a synopsis of deficiencies found by the inspector. These are reports over the past week.

Location: 2120 Killian Hill Road
Score: 90/A
Previous Scores: 92/A (May 5, 2011), 91/A (Oct. 19, 2010)
Deficiencies observed: Cold-held potentially hazardous foods not maintained below 41 degrees, and a drawer cooler was found to have a temperature of above 41 degrees.

Location: 4285 Shiloh Road
Score: 87/B
Previous Scores: 100/A (April 18, 2011), 96/A (Oct. 12, 2010)
Deficiencies observed: Several items on the breakfast bar not documented with the proper time controls, and not using appropriate hand soap in restrooms.

Location: 4000 Stone Mountain Highway
Score: 90/A
Previous Scores: 90/A (May 18, 2011), 93/A (Oct. 28, 2010)
Deficiencies observed: Employee observed putting on pizza toppings (cheese and pepperoni) using bare hands, and sign for employees washing hands not posted in the restroom.

Deficiencies observed: Employee observed touching raw chicken and not washing hands properly between changing gloves, and potentially hazardous foods not properly cooled.

Deficiencies observed: Paper towels not available at any of the hand washing sinks, sanitizer not at right concentration, a can of bug spray was found being stored in the facility, Dumpster not kept closed, and food belonging to an employee found being store above food being used in the facility.

Deficiencies observed: Can opener blade with visible buildup of food debris, ice machine with visible mold in the ice chute, two chemicals stored in spray bottles without labeling, and food preparation utensils not properly stored.
