Located at 1830 Scenic Highway, the new 4,000-square-foot Daytime Cafe will be the franchise's fifth establishment in metro Atlanta, according to a news release. The Snellville location will hold an end-cap space formerly occupied by Chase Bank in the Pharrs Village retail center, and it will employ 25 people.
A recipient of more than 200 “Best Of” accolades in markets across the country, First Watch features traditional entrees including pancakes, omelets, salads and sandwiches. Some of its signature specialties include the Chickichanga, Healthy Turkey Omelet and Fresh Fruit Crepes, along with its exclusive Sunrise Select Premium Blend Coffee. All menu items are freshly prepared to order and the restaurant does not use deep fryers or heat lamps, according to the news release.
The Snellville location will have a patio for outdoor dining, and the inside will look contemporary. From the news release:
"The new Snellville restaurant will feature an interior design concept that connects traditional First Watch design elements with contemporary executions by maximizing natural light provided during the restaurant’s daytime hours. The design also incorporates color tones intended to convey the warm and inviting personality of the First Watch brand and accentuates an open-kitchen concept, which reinforces First Watch’s honest approach to fresh food preparation."
First Watch entered the state of Georgia just this year with locations first in Johns Creek and Vinings/Smyrna, and Dunwoody location opened its doors a weeks ago. An Alpharetta location also is projected to open in early 2014.
First Watch will be open in Snellville from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. everyday. The restaurant also offers guests complimentary newspapers and free Wi-Fi Internet access.
