New Grill in Snellville Celebrates Cinco de Mayo a Day Early

Cabana Grill, the new Mexican restaurant that opened last month in Snellville, has a an early Cinco de Mayo celebrating this week to say thanks to the community.

The restaurant, located at 1635 Scenic Highway in front of Lowe’s, is the first Cabana Grill in the U.S., a new concept created by San Antonio-based Taco Cabana.

“We couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome to the Snellville area and we want to say ‘Thank You’ to our new neighbors with a fun Cinco de Mayo celebration,” said Cabana Grill Chief Operating Officer Todd Coerver in a press release. “We have a variety of activities for the whole family to enjoy, so we invite everyone to come celebrate Cinco de Mayo with us.”

From noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, event activities include free food samples, a bounce house, an interactive videogame theater, a balloon artist, a face painter, a DJ and more.
