Snellville Borders May Close Doors

The Borders in Snellville may be the next in a string of closures by the bookstore retailer.

The Snellville Borders is among 51 Borders across the nation that may close in the near future, according to a report by the Associated Press.

Of the 51 stores named, is the only Georgia location on the most-recent list of stores that may shutter. If the bookstore retailer does not get extension agreements for the 51 stores by June 22, Borders may have to begin shutting them down, the news report said.
