Snellville Entrepreneur Summit Bolsters Local Business

Second Quarter Snellville Entrepreneur Summit Scheduled for April 23.

The City of Snellville will host it’s second quarter Entrepreneur Summit on April 23. The event, which is open to the public, will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the community room at City Hall and end at 8:45 p.m.

The first quarter’s summit was a huge success – 100% of those who responded to the event survey said they would recommend the event to others, and 100% found the information useful and relevant to their business. Attendants will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with current business owners, city officials and visionary members of the community.

Keynote speaker Barbara Bender of Hamilton Financial PC will discuss the many roles that entrepreneurs have to play, as well as what to avoid in order to be a successful entrepreneur.

Updates to the Toolbox include a regular blog and a more interactive platform, according to Economic Development Manager Eric Van Otteren. The Toolbox already has a host of resources beneficial to the business community:

  • A start-up checklist
  • Instructions on how to file a business license in Snellville
  • A business plan template
  • The ability to connect future business owners with peers and mentors

Snellville is quickly becoming the go-to place for entrepreneurs. Join the movement!
