Snellville Olive Garden Opens Today
The Italian food chain opens its newest restaurant in Snellville.
Residents have been waiting for a long time for something to fill the space, and now the wait is over.
The Snellville Olive Garden is now open. This week, Monday-Friday, the restaurant will open at 4 p.m. It is the newest of more than 750 local restaurants.
It is located in the Academy Sports + Outdoors center off of Scenic Highway, on the way to Lawrenceville.

The Olive Garden is 7,441 square feet, can host up to 246 guests and features a design inspired by farmhouses in Italy, according to a report in Gwinnett Magazine. It will also provide 165 new jobs, the magazine reported.
The general manager is Julie Knowles.

Dan Kiernan, executive vice president of operations for Olive Garden, was quoted in the magazine as saying: “Snellville has been one of Gwinnett County’s fastest growing cities making it the ideal location for Olive Garden."
The Snellville Olive Garden is located at 1565 Scenic Highway, Snellville.
