Vote November 5th

Dear Snellville Neighbors,

I am writing my friends and neighbors in Snellville to ask you to join me in voting for Barbara Bender, Bobby Howard, and Tom Witts for City Council on Tuesday, November 5th.

Snellville is our home, and I am concerned about our future. I believe we need leaders on the City Council who will work together, make tough decisions and deliver reforms to continue improving our city.

Last Tuesday, at South Gwinnett High School, Citizens for a Better Snellville (find us on Facebook) and the Snellville Neighborhood Alert Program hosted a City Council Forum that was moderated by WSB-TV’s Dave Huddleston. At this forum about 150 residents turned out to ask the candidates questions. You can read the Snellville Patch’s article about the event and read the candidates answers here:http://snellville.patch.com/groups/elections/p/redeveloping-snellville-expanding-the-cid-and-taxes-city-council-forum-recap

Ms. Bender, Mr. Howard, and Mr. Witts spent two hours answering questions from the audience. Their opponents refused to participate in any debate. Barbara, Bobby, and Tom have proven what can be accomplished when we have leaders who care about our city, set a vision and work together to get the job done.

Their common sense efforts have been vital in attracting new businesses and jobs (Academy Sports, Olive Garden, and Verizon etc.), protecting taxpayers and ensuring our dollars are spent wisely, restoring a sense of community through events like the Snellville Farmers’ Market, the Snellville Community Garden, and the Snellville Tourism and Trade association that bring us events like “Popcorn in the Park”, “Star Spangled Snellville”, “Concerts on the Green”, and the “Snellville Fall Festival” to name a few. Had it not been for the vision of Tom Witts and Barbara Bender a few years ago these events would not be occurring today.

I could go on, but their combined accomplishments are too much to list.

We have a clear choice in this election. We can elect real, practical leaders who will work hard to improve our city or we can go backwards.

The choice is ours. That’s why I am asking you to join me in voting for Barbara Bender, Bobby Howard and Tom Witts November 5th.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
