April 24:

We decided to start something new on Patch, first-responder profiles. Jerrod Barrett was a pretty cool guy, and we were glad to feature him. Look out for similar profiles on the site.

April 25:

More than 20 seniors helped pull of a winning season for the Brookwood footbal team. Now, they are graduating. We take a look back at season stats and see what the players and coach have to say.

April 26:

After a little bit of controversial, this measure failed to pass muster with the Snellville City Council. It would have allowed an occupation tax relief for small business owners making less than $2 million in gross receipts. Instead, it was punted with a 2-4 vote.

April 27:

DECA clubs help emerging leaders gain a foothold in the business world while in school. We highlighted the chapter at South Gwinnett High School. Read the story to see what these future leaders are doing.

April 28:

Sherman Antonio Lewis, of Dacula, was accused of molesting a 13-year-old Snellville girl. The alleged incident took place in Snellville, while the man was at the child's mother's home. Lewis and the mother were long-time friends.

April 29:

We highlighted pre-k programs in the area, and we explained the changes that are taking place in the initiative. Read up on Georgia's program, and see how some of these changes will affect parents and children.

April 30:
