August 9:

A man from Snellville was arrested in Murray County after allegedly driving there to have sexual relations with a child. But, when he got there police where waiting to nab him.

We took a look back to the year 2000 to see what crimes have been like in the county. Property crimes are down, in fact.

August 10:

Snellville Pet Resort recently opened, and Patch was there to get a peak inside.

A man Gwinnett Police have identified as hitting several Burger King restaurants in the county was killed in Buckhead, as he attempted to rob yet another eatery.

August 11:

Youth at Cannon United Methodist Church are back from an outreach trip in the Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee. There the youth worked with Mountain T. O. P., an interdenominational nonprofit outreach program

August 12:

Gwinnett County Public Schools released its first county for enrollment, taken on August 9. Brookwood High School in Snellville had the second-highest enrollment of any school.

August 13:
