Snellville's Diana DeGarmo to Perform at Lenox Square on July 4

The holiday is past, but it was good to see Snellville's own Diana DeGarmo at Lenox Square for the Fourth of July festivities. When is she coming to visit her ol' stomping grounds? We'd love to see her!

Gwinnett Academy of Music is looking to up its game, as it recruits students and drums up attention for the Snellville-based business. We interviewed the owner and teachers to see how it is all going.

July 6:

CRCT Results for Snellville-area Schools

CRCT results were released be the state Department of Education, and it looks like Snellville schools did pretty well. See how our neighborhood schools stack up, and then log on to the state website to see how other schools did.

July 7:

Snellville Leads the State in National Farmers Market Contest

Snellville is the leader in the medium-sized category for favorite farmers markets here in the state. Voting opened up for the national contest in June, and runs until the end of August. Every vote for Snellville counts!

Was Justice Served for Caylee?

Now, that we all know the verdict and the sentence, do you think that justice was served for Caylee. Read our take on what went wrong, and what this means for the victim in all of this: a little girl whose killer is unknown.

30th Anniversary of Nutcracker at Gwinnett Ballet Theatre

Gwinnett Ballet Theatre is now selling tickets for its 30th year of performing Nutcracker for the community. Performances are in December, so get our tickets now.

At the Farmers' Market: Chateau Le Pup

We interviewed Amanda Akens, a 28-year-old who started her own pet bakery. She can be found at both Snellville and Lilburn farmers markets with her tasty treats for your favorite furry friends.

Snellville Gas Prices: July 9

Nothing much to say about this one. Gas prices look like they have stabilized for then time being. Hope they don't go sky high again.
