I'm sure everyone recalls this video. It was so cooler than cool that I had to write a personal essay about it. It received the most hits of any story in 2011. There also were 181 Facebook reccomends.

In reality, this got way more attention than I thought it would. Not only are people still doing Internet searches for the man mentioned in the story, but it drew a buzz on several cyber sex crimes websites. A little creepy? Umm, think so.

3.

This was a pretty big deal to the people of Snellville last year. The sports store was the company's second in metro Atlanta, and it took about a year -- from application to opening -- to complete.

4.

This wasn't expected. I posted it the same day as the game, and I didn't even write all that much!

5.

Sad, sad story. In this story we alerted the public that there had been several more witnesses to come forward regarding the death of little Olivia. Eventually someone was arrested and charged in connection with the accident.

6.

This story written by Crystal Huskey was the top read story for many, many months. It resonated with a lot of people across Georgia, and brought readers from outside of Snellville to the site.

7.

I waited a week or so -- until game week -- to post this, and still it got a lot of hits. Guess people couldn't get enough of this catchy song and video.

8.

After the first video (see No. 7) several students posted different versions of response videos. But, eventually the official response (see No.1) did knock everyone else off. (These video are no longer available on Youtube.)

9.

I'm not really sure how this happened, but it was a very popular movie. Movie reviews usually draw readers from all over the country thanks to Internet searches.

10.

Of course, this would make the top 10 list. Why? Homicides around Snellville just aren't normal. And, this one happened to a family as they were working on their home. Folks just drove up and invaded the place. Sad.
