PetSmart to Open in November at Old Borders Location
The old book store at Scenic Highway and Ronald Reagan is currently being renovated.
After almost two years of being vacant, the old Borders off Scenic Highway is getting a new tenant.
The Snellville location is currently being renovated into a PetSmart store, according to Public Relations Manager Jeff Davis.
"It is scheduled, as long as there are no construction delays, to open in late November of this year," he continued.
On Tuesday, workers from Benning Construction Co. could be seen working on the 19,500-square-foot store. While it will be the first PetSmart in the Snellville area, it won't be the first pet store; there is a Petco in the Kroger shopping center down the street.
