Stephanie Schlund, Snellville Native, Lands Role in Hunger Games

A former Price is Right model and actress in Disney’s The Last Song with Miley Cyrus, Stephanie Schlund is now taking on the role of Cashmere in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. 

She has also appeared on Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva and modeled from a very young age, showing up in Seventeen Magazine and Teen Prom since the age of 14.  

Schlund grew up in Snellville and travels back and forth between home and, well, all over the country. She attended George Walton Academy in Monroe, Ga.  

“My best friends still live around here,” she said.  So do her parents, Fran and Christopher, to whom she attributes much of her success. 

Schlund has plans to give back to her community as she continues to climb the ladder of success, which she will share with Snellville Patch as she moves forward with them.

"My goal in life," she said, "whether it be through entertainment or not, is to set a good example for girls."

Schlund will star in Fox's The Following, starring Kevin Bacon, this fall.
