Early Voting in Snellville Starts Oct. 14

Registered voters can cast their ballots on the three open city council seats before the November general election.

Registered voters in the city of Snellville are able to cast their votes early for the city council election this season. 

Advanced voting will be held at Snellville City Hall starting Oct. 14. Voters can cast their ballots from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday until Nov. 1. 

After Nov. 1, residents can vote in the general election Tuesday, Nov. 5, at city hall from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

The voting at city hall only will pertain to the three seats open on the city council: Posts 3, 4 and 5. Newcomer Alisa Boykin has challenged Mayor Pro Tem Tom Wittsfor Post 3; candidate Dexter Harrison is running against Post 4 incumbent Bobby Howard; and former Mayor Pro Tem Barbara Bender is running for Post 5 against incumbent Mike Sabbagh.
