"Mr Brookwood Pagent" Starrrrring....The Boys of Brookwood

The Mr. Brookwood pageant serves as a fundraiser for the Brookwood High School Dance Department. The pageant contestants are Brookwood HS senior boys and they compete against each other for the title of Mr. Brookwood. The contestants are judged on many things: How well
they do the opening dance number (choreographed by BHS Dance Dept. senior dancers) and they are also judged on the formal wear section. Tuxes for the pagent are donated
to the contestants by The Men's Warehouse at the Avenue in Snellville. The best and biggest part of the show is the "talent" competition! Acts vary from singing, dancing, lip
syncing, playing instruments, reading poetry, acting, ribbon dancing, the list goes on and on.  The top five contestants then have to answer a question.
The judges then decide on the the winner and the first, second, third and fourth runner ups.

The pageant is hosted by Don Stallings (a local actor), he is hilarious and keeps the crowd and the contestants on their toes. This year the judges will be:

Randolph Irvin (BHS Administrator)
Frank Hedrick (Cruse MS PE teacher and Varsity girls Lacrosse)
Christine Lopez (local dance teacher and hair stylist)

Tickets to the event are $10
