The city is holding its belated Fourth of July event, Star Spangled Snellville, this Saturday during Labor Day weekend.
Bring the family out for a full-day event filled with inflatables, bungee jumping, train rides, hula hoop contests, line dancing, a cake walk, a water slide, live music and fireworks. There also will be festival food from vendors such as Texas Roadhouse, Chick-fil-A, Crab Bucket, Buffalo's Cafe, Reys Cuban Grille, Beren's Frozen Custard, Jimmy D's New York Cafe, Gregory's, We B Chillin Shaved Ice and more.
The committee for the Snellville Veterans Memorial also is holding a groundbreaking at 7 p.m.
The fireworks start at 8:30 p.m. While attending the event is free, there is a cost for the inflatables, bungee jumping and train rides, which range from $1 for a single ride to $10 for all day.
