Who Will Win the Mayor's Cup at the Broncos v. Comets Football Game?

The Battle of Snellville takes place this Friday.

For the past three years, the mayor of Snellville has presented the Mayor's Cup to the winner of the annual Brookwood v. South Gwinnett football game.

Now in its fourth year, the Mayor's Cup has a new trophy, which will be unveiled at the game this Friday (Nov. 1). Mayor Kelly Kautz will be presenting the new three-foot, custom-made award to the winning team after the game.

Last year, the trophy was given to the Comets but in 2011, the cup was presented to the Broncos.

"I'm a Brookwood alumni, so I admit it was a little difficult giving the trophy over," said Kautz on her first year presenting the trophy.

The game starts at 7:30 p.m. Friday (Nov. 1) at the South Gwinnett High stadium, located at 2288 East Main St. in Snellville.

Considering the Broncos have a 4-4 record and the Comets have won three out of eight games so far this season, it's hard to tell which team will win. Who do you think will be awarded the new trophy for 2013?
