Snellville and Grayson Come Together for Grayson Blues and Brews

The festival takes place Oct. 6.

The City of Grayson Downtown Development Authority (DDA) hosts the Third Annual Grayson Blues & Brews Craft Beer Festival in Grayson City Park on Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Building on the success of past year’s inaugural festival, there will be more than 100 brew samplings in the secure park venue.

The City of Snellville has offered their mobile stage for Grayson's use, and numerous city officials and residents, including Susan Chapallear, Tom Witts, Diane Krause, Bobby Howard, Marilyn Swinney and Marcy Pharris, will volunteer their time for the festival.

This year’s Exclusive Malt Beverage Sponsor is Pyramid Brewing, distributed by Eagle Rock Distributing. Grayson is excited to welcome Devon Allman’s Honeytribe to this year’s festival as the featured blues act. They’ll be playing some incredible music that will resonate with their blues background along with some Southern favorites that many of us know and love.

Also returning to the stage this year is Grayson’s favorite Rock/Blues Band, Critical Velocity. The Grant & Moe Show with Buddy on Bass will bring some acoustic blues to the day and we’ll introduce attendees to one of our new favorites, Threez Harmony. It’s going to be a music filled day!

Ticket sales are limited to 2,000 and are already on sale via www.Grayson-BluesandBrews.com and locally at the Hail Mary Pub, Johnny’s Pizza in Grayson, Summits Wayside Tavern in Snellville, Summit Chase Country Club, and the Beverage SuperStore in Suwanee. Presale tickets are $25 each; prices on the day of the event are $30. This is an adult-only event - you must be 21 to enter; pets are not allowed.
