Halloween Happenings In and Around Town

Halloween starts now! Take advantage of these local trunk-or-treats and haunted houses while there's still scare in the air.

Parkwood Farms
2519 Parkwood Road

This is Parkwood Farms' fourth annual "Safe Halloween Party," and also serves as one of their major fundraisers. As a therapy center for children with disabilities, this festival is designed to be sensory friendly, safe and appropriate for children with special needs. It starts Oct. 27 at 3 p.m. and ends at 6:30. Kids will have the opportunity to ride horses on a trail ride around the farm.

Bring the kids down to Unique Treasures on Saturday 27th during regular store hours to "Trick or Treat" throughout the store! (Parents, you'll have a blast, too. This is an awesome store.)

Masquerade Ball
Triple 7 Dance Company

Startng at 7 p.m. on Oct. 27, the Triple 7 Dance Company will host a Masquerade Ball. There will be a haunted house, dance contest, lots of candy and a scavenger hunt.Β 

Community Fall Festival
Westminster Presbyterian Church
2208 East Main Street

The church will offer a free community fall festival with food, games, music, and prizes on Sunday, Oct. 28 from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m.
