Snellville held its third annual MLK March and Celebration on Monday.

Snellville held its third annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day March and Celebration on Monday (Jan. 20). 

Hundreds participated in the march, which march started at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church and traveled to Snellville United Methodist Church, where lunch was served. 

Among those in the celebration were Snellville Mayor Kelly Kautz, Snellville City Councilman Dave Emanuel, Councilman Bobby Howard, Mayor Pro Tem Tom Witts and Pastor Elijah Collins of New Jerusalem Baptist Church. Miss Brookwood, the Chick-fil-A cow, and the South Gwinnett High School Band, JROTC and basketball team also were part of the entertainment.
