TOP Concern for Georgia Manufacturing based on the 2012 Georgia Manufacturing Survey is…

It is no surprise to many in the manufacturing community that Marketing and Sales is the TOP concern for Georgia Manufacturers. On June 8th, the Georgia Manufacturing Expo will help to ease this concern and connect business and individual consumers to products that are manufactured in Georgia.

The goal of the expo is to help strengthen the manufacturing sector in Georgia in order to stimulate job growth.  The Expo is beginning to attract media attention which will send a signal to companies outside the state that Georgia is a manufacturing-friendly place and a great place to locate their next factory.

The Expo will be open to all Georgia consumers and it will be a celebration of the diversity of manufacturing companies across the state . . . that hardly anyone is aware of!  It will give Georgia consumers information to make an educated choice about what products to purchase.
It will also be an opportunity for Georgia manufacturers to show young
people that a career in manufacturing can be “cool.”
