Aimee Copeland Welcomes Service Dog

Snellville resident Aimee Copeland has a new companion at her side -- Belle.

Belle is a one-year-old labradoodle trained to assist Copeland. The dog can open doors, get food from the refrigerator and pick up items off the floor, among other talents.Β

"One thing that really blew my mind," Copeland was quoted as saying on HLN. "is that they actually can train her to bring me my prescriptions at a certain time."
