Local Preschool Raising Money for Ronald McDonald House

Beginning on January 28, 2013, The Goddard School of Snellville, along with Goddard Schools nationwide, will participate in fundraising efforts to support Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). In celebration of The Goddard School’s 25th anniversary, our goal, with your help and the help of Goddard School families across the country, is to make a total donation of $250,000.

Our School’s goal is to raise over $575.00, and we will be; collecting quarters in our container up front, “Soaring to New Heights” with donation balloons to reach our goal, generating corporate sponsorships and donations and having a silent auction, all to reach that goal until February 15, 2013. The good news is that the majority of the money we raise locally will stay in our community.

At The Goddard School, we teach our children about compassion and cooperation. Our partnership with RMHC provides a fantastic opportunity for children to learn about good deeds and what it means to support those in need. The fundraising efforts for RMHC will allow children to learn firsthand the importance of helping other families in our community and across the country.

In addition to our fundraising efforts, we will be creating birthday cards to support our local RMHC chapter. The birthday cards will be distributed throughout the year by RMHC directors to pediatric patients or family members celebrating birthdays during their, or a loved one’s, hospital stay. To help us reach our nationwide goal of $250,000, for every card that Goddard Schools collect from across the nation, Goddard Systems, Inc. will donate $1.00 to RMHC, up to $25,000.
