Obituary:

Harvie Jordan Ewing, Jr., age 85 of Grayson, GA passed away May 9, 2012.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvie, Sr. and Essie Ewing, and is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Evelyn Ewing; children, Wayne and Chi Chi Ewing of Cleveland, GA, Jeannine and Dwight McCart of Snellville, Michael and Vickie Ewing of Snellville, Valerie and Marvin Hewatt of Braselton, GA; step mother, Melba Ewing of Lilburn; grandchildren, Emily and Mike Findley of Monroe, Heather and Dr. Nicolas Chronos of Atlanta, Ty and Amy McCart of Columbia, SC, Jill and Doug Brown of Dacula, Mindy and P.J. Silva of Oxford, GA, Michael, Jr. and Paige Ewing of Flowery Branch, Meredith and Randy Hooker of Braselton, GA., Marissa and Brant Stephens of Braselton, GA; 15 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.   

Mr. Ewing, a well-known and respected Real Estate Entrepreneur, got his start in the used car business from 1948 – 1968.  He was an integral part of the development of Gwinnett County and was a great benefactor to the area.  He was a member of for many years, then became a member of

A Funeral Service Celebrating the Life of Harvie Jordan Ewing, Jr. will be held Saturday, May 11 at 10:00 AM at with Rev. Alton Wilson officiating. Interment will be held at Snellville Historical Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 4 until 8pm at the funeral home.
