James Neal Sartain, 80, of Snellville

Sartain was a U.S. Army veteran and a self-employed brick mason.

James Neal Sartain, 80, of Snellville, GA (formerly of Danielsville) passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2013, at the Silverleaf Alzheimer's Care of Snellville.

Mr. Sartain was born in Danielsville, GA on September 18, 1933, son of the late Lee Sartain and the late Ina Mae Martin Sartain. He was a self-employed brick mason and a member of the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church. Mr. Sartain was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sophronia Crook Sartain.

Survivors include his children, Jeff Sartain of Grayson, GA and Shelia SartainMcClure of Suwanee, GA; four grandchildren; and brother, Max Sartain of Danielsville, GA. Mr. Sartain is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Sartain will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2013, at the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dennis Kesler and Rev. Richard Huycke officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday evening. The family is at their respective homes.

Flowers are optional; memorials may be made to the Silverleaf Centers for Alzheimer's Care, 2106 McGee Road, Snellville, GA 30078.
