$5,000 Reward Offered in Snellville-Area Triple Homicide Case

Gwinnett County Police are still looking for suspect Robert Bell in connection to killing a mother, her 12-year-old son and 19-year-old godson, and shooting her boyfriend.

An increased reward of $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect in last week's triple homicide case.

Gwinnett County Police are looking for suspect Robert Bell, 33, in connection to killing a mother, her 12-year-old son and her 19-year-old godson, and shooting the woman's boyfriend Sept. 15 in unincorporated Snellville. He is 6 feet tall and 300 pounds.

Detectives have received several tips already, but nothing that indicates specifically where Bell might be, according to a news release from Gwinnett Police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith. Detectives have not been able to narrow down which city or state Bell might be in.

In a Sept. 18th news release, authorities indicated that Bell may have been traveling to Albany; Chicago; or Crossville, Tenn.

Crime Stoppers Atlanta is providing the reward of $5,000. Tipsters may remain anonymous and can provide tips by visiting www.crimestoppersatlanta.org, or by calling 404-557-TIPS (8477).

Police believe the suspected murder weapon is a Bushmaster XM-15, which is similar to an AR-15 and can be seen in the above photo. It is not technically an assault rifle; it is only capable of semi-automatic fire.

Detectives do not know what other weapons Bell may have access to. He should still be considered armed and dangerous, anyone encountering Bell should call 911.
