Although no LSD was found in the home, the suspects mentioned given some of the illegal psychedelic drug to Oscar -- their pooch, the AJC report added. Police found the dog, but only after it had been hit by a vehicle. It was taken to a local veterinarian to be treated.

Reached Monday afternoon, Snellville Police Chief Roy Whitehead said that's what the duo said, but that LSD in Oscar's system had not been determined yet.

"We did not make arrests at this point," he said in an email about 4 p.m.

"The people reported they gave the dog LSD, but that has not been confirmed.  We are trying to do that so we can determine if and what charges are warranted."

The suspects were transported to a local hospital and then released, he added.

The investigation into the not-so dynamic duo, the dog and the suspected LSD, continues.
