Armed Robbery Suspects on the Lam

Snellville Police are looking for three men who robbed a local jewelry store.

Snellville Police are looking for three male suspects in a Wednesday armed robbery of on Scenic Highway.

The robbery happened about 12:25 p.m., according to a store owner, Ajay Singadia. Police said the two of the men entered the store armed with weapons, and ordered two patrons and five employees to the ground. The third suspect was outside acting as a lookout, said Det. K. Sebring, of Snellville Police.

The men then smashed the jewelry cabinets, and left with an undisclosed amount. The suspects left in a white SUV, possibly a Jeep Liberty, police said.

"We've had grab and runs, but we never had an armed robbery," Singadia said.

Singadia said the store reopened for business a couple of hours after the robbery, and that no one was injured.

He said the store is "trying to get back to normal," and are remaining busy with Valentine's Day coming up.

Police are reviewing surveillance video of the robbery. If the public has any information related to the robbery or the suspects, they are asked to contact the Snellville Police Department at 770-985-3555.
