Child Abduction Alert: Police Search for Missing Toddler

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has issued a Levi's call for a two-year-old girl abducted from outside the Samson Fitness Center in nearby Lithonia.

Update, Oct. 16, 1:17 p.m.: Myrai Robinson has been found safe at Lithonia High School just a few hours after being abducted, according to 11Alive. Officials believe the person who stole the van did not know the child was in the van, then dropped her off when he realized what was happening.

Dekalb County police are searching for a missing two-year-old girl, Myrai Robinson, who disappeared from the parking lot of Samson Fitness Center. The facility is a part of New Birth Baptist Church (6400 Woodrow Road, Lithonia).

Authorities say she is in extreme danger.

CBS Atlanta reports that the child's babysitter left the child in the van around 9:30 a.m. this morning while she went to work out. When she came back from her workout, the girl and the van were missing.

Myria, an African-American girl, was last seen wearing blue tights, gray and pink sneakers, a white t-shirt and blue and white hairbows.

The van is a 2010 Dodge Caravan with a plastic covering on the back windshield; the tag number, written on paper, is 40146978.

Anyone with information is asked to dial 911 or call DeKalb Police at 770-724-7850.
