Driver Attempts to Run Over Former Passenger

Some hit and run incidents are pretty straight forward; others, not so much.

A black SUV stopped on Flintrock Way in Snellville on Friday, Aug. 24, and a female got out of the vehicle. There was an argument between the driver and the female, culminating in the driver attempting to run her over.

The driver drove through a yard and hit a stop sign on Flintrock Way at Rockdale Circle. The unknown female did not report the incident, but neighbors reported it as a hit and run because of the struck sign, which will be repaired by City Maintenance.

On Saturday, a woman in the Old Navy parking lot on Scenic Highway said she observed a green mini-van "cutting through parking spaces." The van looked like it was going to park beside the woman's vehicle, but then pulled through and hit her vehicle in the process.

The driver, a woman with black hair, slowed down and looked around, then just drove off. The witness yelled at the driver to stop, but the driver kept on going.
