Family of Slain Boys Releases Statement

In response to the arrest of the father in the murders of two of his children.

Shortly after the arrest of Elvis Noe-Garcia for the , the Garcia family issued this statement through their lawyer:

"Elvis Noe-Garcia has apparently spoken with the Gwinnett Police and based upon those conversations has been booked into the  today, February 12, 2011 and and aggravated assault on the other child. The Garcia family does not know the exact details of his conversations with the Gwinnett Police. As the facts of this situation unravel, the family is suffering on two fronts, for the loss of the children and for the fact that their brother is the suspect in this case.  The family continues to support the investigation and is appreciative to the Gwinnett Police for the professionalism, sensitivity and respect shown to the family.  At the same time, they continue to support Elvis as he is facing the worst moment of his life.  At this point, the family is concerned about Elvis and making sure he does not harm himself. We do not doubt that within the next few days more information will be given to the family and the public that will help us understand what happened."
