FBI: Two Recent Wells Fargo Bank Robberies Connected

A bank robbery in Centerville last week is believed to be the work of the same man who robbed a Wells Fargo in Peachtree Corners on June 23.

The FBI officials now believe that a at a is the work of the same gunman who robbed a bank this morning in Peachtree Corners.

, a teller was wounded after the suspect fired several rounds from a semi-automatic weapon "for reasons unknown," according to a press release from the Atlanta division of the FBI.

The bank employee was transported to a nearby hospital, where the victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries, FBI officials said.

A similar description of the suspect -- including a black dread-type wig -- was reported in both the Peachtree Corners and the Centerville incidents. And, now officials say the man is believed to be responsible for the Snellville area robbery, as well.

The man left both banks with an undisclosed amount of money.

Wells Fargo officials, reached a week ago, However, bank guards are not normally part of the security protocol anymore. 

The company has now announced a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the capture/conviction of this individual.
