Firefighters Respond to House Fire

Firefighters are at the scene of a working house fire at the 1300 block of Tree Lane in Snellville. 

Crews were dispatched about 6 p.m. to the home, where they found heavy black smoke billowing from the roof, according to a Gwinnett Fire report. Crews are working to get the fire under control.

People were in the home at the time of the fire, but they were able to escape, according to the report. No injuries were reported.

Officials did not know immediately whether the fire was related to the storm.
