Trio Impersonate Police, Rob Driver

The trio used blue lights to pull the victim over.

According to the AJC, a man driving a Direct TV van on Highway 124 was pulled over by a black Crown Victoria with flashing blue lights.

Cpl. Jake Smith said that "one of the suspects produced a handgun and put it to the victim's head" after they pulled him over on Telida Trail.

One of the suspects then took tools from the driver's van before the trio fled in the Crown Victoria, according to the AJC.

The suspects were described as follows:

  • Suspect 1: Black male, 5'7, 130 pounds and dreadlocks.
  • Suspect 2: Black male, 5'5, 130 pounds, scar on the right side of his face near ear.
  • Suspect 3: Black female, pink hair that was possibly a wig.

Snellville Patch will follow up with this story, including tips on how to make sure you are being pulled over by a legitimate officer.
