Gunshots Heard As Police Arrived in Apparent Murder-Suicide

Gunshots were heard when police arrived at the house.

Gwinnett Police investigators are treating Saturday night shooting deaths of a man and woman as a murder-suicide.

Police spokesman Sgt. Troy Tobler said officers responded to a domestic call around 9 p.m. Saturday, April 26, on Mossy Creek Drive in unincorporated south Gwinnett County. Officers were told the man and woman were arguing and there was concern for the safety of the woman.

β€œJust as officers arrived on-scene, gunshots were heard coming from within the residence and tactical measures were taken by the officers, including activation of the SWAT team,” Tobler said in a media release sent Sunday morning.
