Jury Selection Begins in Slaying of Snellville Man

First of three trials scheduled for next week in Hall County in the alleged contract killing of Richard Schoeck.

Jury selection is under way in Hall County in the first of three trials related to the 2010 Valentine’s Day contract killing of Richard Schoeck of Snellville.

The trial for Lynitra Ross of Austell is scheduled to begin Tuesday. Ross faces  malice murder charges after allegedly connecting Schoek's wife, Stacey, with Reginald Coleman, who authorities say shot Richard Schoeck to death near Lula, Ga.

Stacey Schoeck allegedly paid Coleman $10,000 to kill her husband, claiming he molested their children.

However, court records show Stacey Schoeck admitted a five-year extramarital affair and had a half million dollars in pending life insurance claims after her husband was killed, The Gainesville Times reported.
