Man With Knife Suspected in Robbery at Snellville Citgo

Snellville Police are looking for a man suspected in an armed robbery April 20 at the Citgo gas station at 2304 Scenic Highway.

According to a press release issued by Snellville PD, the suspect jumped over the counter, grabbed the clerk and demanded money. The robbery occurred around 11 p.m. April 20.

"The clerk fought with the suspect and pulled the bandana from his face," according to the report.

Police say the suspect held a large knife to the clerk's neck and forced him into a back room. The suspect fled on foot with a unknown amount of cash.

The suspect is described by police as a black male who was wearing jeans, a hoodie, a light-blue bandana, and a glove on one hand and possibly a sock over the other.
