The 12th session of the Snellville Citizens Police Academy is set to begin on Thursday, September 15, 2011.  This 10-week program is designed to educate the community about how the police department functions and how the community’s involvement can help deter crime.

During the 10-week course, we will discuss law enforcement topics and engage in practical exercises.  Some of the topics include domestic violence, drug awareness, traffic stops, firearms training, and crime scene processing.  In addition, participants will take a tour of the Gwinnett County Jail and be provided a graduation dinner during the last session.
