Philip Motors Hit With Multiple Thefts
The used car dealership has had a rash of thefts over the past few months.
On Tuesday, Dec. 18, the owner of Philip Motors reported four tires and rims missing from a vehicle at his used car lot.
Owner Stanislav Negrei told police that someone stole the items on Monday, Dec. 17, between 9 and 10 p.m. from a blue 2003 BMW that was parked on the lot. The total value of the theft is estimated to be around $900.
The theft was discovered when Negrei got to work on Tuesday morning.

After he noticed the theft, he reviewed security footage, which revealed a male walking across the parking lot around 9:30 p.m. He appeared to be wearing blue jeans, a long white jacket, dark gloves and a tire iron. Negrei told police that it appeared to be the same guy seen in video from past thefts, but that he was normally accompanied by a "skinny male."
