The officer knocked on the window and gestured for them to open it.

The man, whom police identified as a 26-year-old Snellville resident, told the officer that they "were making out," according to the report. He and the woman told police they didn't shop at Kroger and they didn't intend to shop there.

The male added that they had just come from church where they attended Easter service.

The two were arrested at the scene. The vehicle, which smelled heavily of burnt and raw marijuana, was searched. The officer found a clear plastic bag containing green leafy material that tested positive for marijuana. A half-smoked marijuana cigarette also was discovered.

According to the report, the male suspect admitted to police that the marijuana was his. The two were charged with disorderly conduct (sex in a public place) and loitering and prowling. Because he admitted to owning the drugs, he also was charged with possession of marijuana.
