Snellville Police have
arrested a man for cruelty to animals after he allegedly taped his dog’s mouth closed.
WSB-TV reported Friday that Antonio Furlow was arrested after a neighbor called police to report seeing the dog, a pit bull, with electrical tape wrapped tightly around its snout. The dog was “skinny and emaciated,” according to police. The incident occurred on March 21.
The dog needed to be taken to an animal hospital for treatment and to have the tape removed.
