UPDATE: Police Investigate Best Buy Burglary

The culprits stole high-dollar electronic items in the early morning hours of March 12.

Updated 6:52 p.m., March 13: Snellville Police have recovered the vehicle they believe was used in the Best Buy smash and grab, according to a report by the AJC on March 13.

Snellville Police detectives are investigating an early morning burglary at the Scenic Highway location.

Just after 3 a.m. on March 12, police say a group of unidentified persons broke into the store using a dark-colored Dodge Ram truck to barrel through a rear bay door. The door led to a vehicle parts installation area, and from there, the culprits broke a window to get into the actual store, police said in a press statement.

The suspects conducted the burglary with their faces and hands covered. Police say they stole high-dollar electronic items, including laptops/ tablet computers and digital cameras. The total value of the items is undetermined.
