Police Looking for Theft Suspects

Snellville Police Department is looking for two people involved in a theft of more than $3,600.

Snellville Police Department is looking for two suspects involved in a theft at on Scenic Highway, that resulted in more than $3,600

Police say the theft happened March 16 at the business, located at 1630 Scenic Highway.  Police say the male suspect distracted the victim with questions, while the female accomplice removed the victim’s wallet.

The wallet contained credit cards, personal checks, cash and debit cards from the victim's purse, which was resting in a shopping cart. Police said the suspects then used the cards to buy items from the Snellville and , and a Target in Lawrenceville.

A total of $3,671.47 was charged on the victim's credit cards. Some of the items purchased were:

  • 20 VISA gift cards
  • 1 Toshiba 4GB laptop
  • 1 Xbox Kinect
  • 14 Apple iPods
