Police: Married Man Caught in Park After Hours With Another Woman

A Viagra pill also was found in the backseat of the police car when the man was arrested and transported to jail.

A Snellville man was arrested in connection to being in a park after hours last week with a woman who wasn't his wife.

According to the Gwinnett County Police report, authorities saw the man and the other woman at Club Drive Park in Lawrenceville around 12:18 a.m. Monday (Dec. 9). They were inside one of the two vehicles parked next to each other in the parking lot.

When the officer walked up to the window, the woman was seen adjusting her shirt and the man was adjusting his pants.

Police asked for their IDs, and while the female provided her license, the man claimed leaving his at home. He gave police his name and address at Richmond on the Fairway Apartments, where he allegedly lived for two years. The officer told him the address was invalid since the apartment number he gave had three digits when all the complex's units had four numbers. The street address for the apartment also was incorrect.

Using his name and date of birth, the officer looked up his information but wasn't convinced that the man was giving his true identity. So the officer asked for a fingerprint scan, but the man refused.

"I told him anyone can remember someone else's information, but fingerprints are harder to fake," the officer wrote in the report.

Again, the man refused, so he was arrested and charged with being in a park after hours.

His companion was released, and she left in her car. She told authorities that she had only known the man for a few months since he was a regular customer at the Burger King she manages.

Police learned that the remaining car was registered in the man's wife's name. When police asked if he would like her to pick up the vehicle so that it wouldn't be impounded, the man refused.

After transporting him to the Gwinnett County jail, the officer found a receipt with a blue Viagra pill inside. Since the pill was not there before the officer's shift, it had to be the suspect's, according to the report.
