Rash of Catalytic Converter Thefts Along Industrial Way

Snellville Police are investigating the theft of ten catalytic converters stolen in broad daylight.

On Monday, Oct. 8, the owner of Garmon Glass and Mirror was notified by his employees around 8 a.m. that someone had cut through the fence at the rear of the building and broken into a number of vehicles.

The suspect(s) broke into a total of twelve vehicles along Industrial Way. Besides Garmon Glass, vehicles parked behind Spence Heating and Snellville Glass were also illegally entered.

Initially, the victims and police thought that the suspect(s) went through the vehicles and stole whatever they could find. This was only part of the story. A flashlight, GPS, fleece jacket, large tool chest with an assortment of items and Milwaukee drill were allegedly taken from a number of vehicles.
