Robert Bell, Accused of Triple Homicide Near Snellville, Extradited to Gwinnett
Bell is accused of murdering Angelina Benton, her son Joseph McDonald, 12, and godson Raynard Daniel, 19.
Robert Bell, the man wanted for triple slayings in Snelllville in September, was returned to Gwinnett County Friday and booked in the county jail.
He is facing three counts of murder and one count of aggravated assault in the Sept. 15 killings of Angelina Benton, her son Joseph McDonald, 12, and godson Raynard Daniel, 19, according to a report by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Benton's boyfriend, Justin Cato, was shot in the leg.
Bell had recently moved into Benton's home at 4630 Anderson-Livsey Lane before ambushing the family members with a semi-automatic weapon.
He was caught by New Orleans Police on Oct. 24 and had been fighting extradition to Gwinnett since. He is being held without bond, according to jail records.
