Update: Three Reported Shot to Death Near Snellville

The shootings happened at 4630 Anderson Livsey Lane near Snellville, according to Gwinnett Police.

Gwinnett County Police report that three people are dead and another is in the hospital after Sunday night’s domestic-related shootings in unincorporated Snellville.

According to a Gwinnett Police media alert, officers responded to a domestic call around 9 p.m. Sunday night at 4630 Anderson Livsey Lane. Two people were found with gunshot wounds and both were taken to Gwinnett Medical Center, where one of them died.

Two more bodies were later found at the scene. According to the police email:

“Due to conflicting information as to the location of the possible suspects, the Gwinnett County Police Department SWAT Unit was dispatched to the scene to check the residence for any remaining suspects and/or victims. During the search of the residence, two additional bodies were discovered and both were deceased.

“Details surrounding the events leading up to the incident are still under investigation at this time.”

Police have not released any information on the identities of the victims, nor any suspect information.

Gwinnett County Police are reporting a shooting took place Sunday (Sept. 15) in unincorporated Snellville. 

The shooting was off the 4600 block of Anderson Livsey Lane near Centerville Highway, according to Officer Jeffery Richter.


CBS Atlanta reports that two people were shot and one person is dead. A SWAT team is searching for the shooter, and police are advising residents to stay in their homes and lock their doors.

WSB-TV reports that the incident started as a domestic situation.
