Snellville K-9 May Help Sniff Out Tybee Island Drugs

"Stryker" has been offered to the Tybee Island Police Department by Snellvlle-area trainer.

Tybee Island’s drug-enforcement efforts could be getting some helping paws, thanks to a Snellville-trained police dog.

According to a report in the Savannah Morning News, the Tybee Island Police Department may soon receive a golden retriever named Stryker to help it sniff out drug offenses in the Coastal Georgia town.

A Snellville-area trainer is offering to donate the dog, pending acceptance by the Tybee Island City Council.
